killer was behind bars. Chief of Police Jack Carter, who as a city official had seen all of the terror John caused, reluctantly assigned a young rookie detective named Michael Sanders to the case. Michael had just transferred to the department from the sheriffs office of Metro County. This was his first case and he was determined to find the killer. He picked up on all of the bad feelings displayed towards Mr. Vargas, even from the chief, but Michael never let his sense of duty nor his commitment to justice slide. Looking for a suspect would be difficult. Everyone had motif to kill John. He had more rivals than any normal human being could possibly know what to do with. If there was one sure place to start though, it would have to be at the home of either the Chandlers or the Bennetts. These two families were Johns biggest rivals by far and two of the only families to ever rival John and/or Vargas Enterprises and flourish. In the office of the one company to ever rival Johns "Vargas Technologies", "Westech Corp", CEO Lisa Bennett-Chandler sits in a meeting discussing what the death of John Vargas means to his company as well as theirs. Lisa had been chosen to be CEO because of her skill and desire to be on top. She knew this would be her chance to take over the largest software company and merge into a technological juggernaut. She shared the family business with her younger brother Robert who at the moment was on the phone with their mother. He was trying to comfort her, for their youngest sister Laura, the third partner in Westech Corp, had now been missing for a week. Her children were worried and she was running out of excuses as to where their mother is. Rob
