ert assures his mother he will find Laura and that everything will be fine. After his conversation, Robert begins to wonder himself if he believes he can really find her. After the meeting, Robert tells Lisa to take care of everything at Westech until he can find Laura. They both know it's not like her to just leave and not say anything. Lisa assured Robert that business will run as usual until they get back.
Over at Vargas Tech. things are not going as well. Employees left and right were worried about what will happen now that their fearless leader is no more. As much as they hated him, he gave them all one thing guaranteed in this town and that was security. With John gone they knew this town would surely dry up into nothing more than a ghost town. Rumors of a possible Westech takeover also buzzed around, either way to the employees they were doomed. They gathered in the amphitheater to hear a video conference from Reginald Thorin., Johns right hand man and long time business associate. The buzz is immediately silenced with the first words that come from Reginalds mouth. Reginald was always essential to John and his businesses as Reginald was the heart, the character and the people person of the operation. If there was one person who knew how to calm a crowd of a thousand worried employees, it was him. Reginald spoke as though he was speaking to his closest friend, he assured everyone that Vargas Technologies was staying put, they would never close down and certainly never let Westech. take over. He assured that someone would step in soon as the new CEO of Vargas enterprises and would lead the way to even greater success.
